Hope you all had a great weekend!!!!!! The weather was beautiful, the snow was gone and I am finally caught up with class designs, cutting and packaging them. Now I have to start doing it all over again for April's schedule . It's a good thing I absolutely love and adore what I do.
Here is the card I made for last week's challenge at http://www.stampingbella.com/. I decided to use a new release called Sketchy Wildflower (you get the large flower stamp and includes a mini version of the stamp). I really love stamps of flowers, as they are so versatile and can be used for any occasion. I used mineral spirits and Lyra coloured pencils to colour. The patterned paper is by Jillibean and Prism card stock. I stamped the image twice and cut out the flowers and popped them up. The third flower I glued to the button for extra interest.
Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment.
Hugs
Nicky

This is so pretty, Nicky - great job! I love the way you brought the flower over onto the button and the swiss dot embossing added some nice texture. You continue to be a great source of inspiration to me.
Hi Nicky! What a gorgeous card! I love the popped up effect. I'm a sucker for that swiss dots folder as well. I use it ALOT. More than any of my others.

Afternoon Nicky,
What a beautiful stamp. I am getting so into the flowers myself. I love how it comes with a little stamp to give it some punch. Keep up the great job of inspiring us all.
