2 year Bloggaversary & Blog candy

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is well and enjoying our beautiful hot weather. I am so excited and thrilled to tell you that I am the Guest Artist for the June issue of Take Ten Magazine. This is the best Birthday gift I could have received ever (june 2). Can I tell you how excited I am? If anyone wants any of the images that I used on the cards, they are all by Stamping Bella. For some reason, it wasn't mentioned in the magazine.

I am also celebrating my second year Blogg-aversary (where has time gone), sooooo, I am in a mood to give someone some blog candy. All you have to do to win, is to leave me a comment telling me what is your favourite colour combo, and, what is your favourite technique. You won't regret it. I will pick a winner and post it on Tuesday.

I also wanted to share this card with you. I used both an embossing folder and EK success border punch. The stamp from Penny Black was coloured with Tombow markers and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. Ribbon is May Arts.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs,

Nicky

My favourite colour combo right now is a light purple, darker purple, white and a mossy green. And I love playing with textures with my Big Shot!

Can't wait to see the Guest Artist article, Nicky - way to go! Thanks for another lovely card. I'm always amazed at your creations and this one is so soft & pretty. I usually go for earth toned colours, but you always inspire me to try something softer and prettier. Thanks for being such a great inspiration.

Congrats on Guest Artist Honour ... they made a great choice! Pink and green would be my fav combo and I still love my direct to stamp technique. It always turns out and oddly enough, it was one that I learned from you, many years ago.

Hi Nicky! Happy blogaversary and congrats on being the Guest Artist for June!! Today's card is gorgeous. I love the simple yet elegant feel. Great job =) I seem to really like purple, grey, and white. Hmmm, favourite technique... probably heat embossing. I finally got myself a heat embossing gun and LOVE it lol. Keep up the fantastic work and thanks =)

WOW, Congrats to you! My favorite color combo is apricot, pink and green. The look is so soft and girly at the same time. As far as techniques go, I truly love dry embossing (folders or otherwise). Thanks for your continuing inspiration :)

Hi Nicky;

I just finished reading my Take Ten and I loved your cards! I like that you design with lots of white space and I liked the touches of glitter in just the right places. I fell in love with the little fairy stamps and was disappointed that Stampington didn't say where they were from. Thank you so much for posting the information!

I'm also wanting to know what company makes the fairy stamps you used. Your cards are gorgeous!!
